The Best Birthday Present I could give my wife!

It’s my wife’s birthday today!

And what did I give her for the present?

Well, apart from all the shopping and a romantic book called “99 Reasons Why I Love You”, I quit a bad habit.

Yes, I gave up one of my toxic habits for her.

I was addicted to a game on my phone.

Right after breakfast and before going to work, I spent an hour playing it. Then two hours after I came home from work. Then another hour after the dinner. And finally, some more minutes before I finally got tired and shut my eyes.

I didn’t even realize how much time I was wasting.

She didn’t complain, and that’s why I was increasing the daily time limit for the game.

She was just waiting for me to realize it myself.

Fortunately, I came to my senses.

But most people don’t!

A sincere piece of advice to whoever is reading it right now, Don’t ever ignore your loved ones!

If they aren’t complaining, it doesn’t mean they aren’t suffering because of you.

Sometimes, the best people in our life are those who never complain.

They love us unconditionally.
They want our genuine care. But they don’t DEMAND it.

They don’t DEMAND Love from us.
They don’t DEMAND Care from us.

They just want us not to ignore them, acknowledge them, spend time with them, listen to them.

But if they don’t get it, they keep their calm and wait (the classic definition of unconditional love).

These selfless creatures will wait their entire life just to get your attention, in some cases.

And right now, while writing this, I realize how selfless she really is!

I am not making anything up. I am not having to. I am literally writing all the traits of my wife.

I am lucky enough to have the most loving and caring partner I could ever have.

She is by my side whether I am broke or heartbroken. She is always there for me when I make stupid mistakes.

I don’t know how to end this story now, but if you have made it this far, please be thankful for the people around you before it’s too late.

I have promised myself to keep quitting one bad habit for my wife every month.

And if not every month, at least every birthday.
